While I was in California this summer I had a chance to shoot a short film on Cut Chemist at his home studio in Los Angeles for URB / Society Theory.

The storytellers of Society Theory present a new series of short documentaries entitled Grand Master Citizens. The term is a play on the latin phrase: Civis Magister Generalis — once used to describe the leaders and masters citizens.
Meant as a companion piece to their current ongoing series, Two Sides of Cool, this new set of longer short form pieces focus on people that have transcended the space of cool — focusing on those ‘Grand Master’s that have gone on to and continue to dictate the trends and growth in their respective creative fields.

Taken this afternoon in Astor Place; I was delighted by one of the pianos set up in public spaces in Manhattan that these girls were playing together.
So far both of my diptychs have been focused on people in public spaces. I may continue with this theme.
